In April of 2010, Allen Hunt was commuting from Texas to the Marcellus Shale area of the Ohio Valley, working for a drilling fluids company. However, since he had a background in the supply industry, he recognized a glaring need: there were no supply stores in the area. Allen called his wife, Amy, who was still teaching in Texas. They talked about it and prayed about it and decided to go for it. Thus, A&A Supply, LLC. was born.

The Hunts found a building just outside of New Martinsville, WV that had been a furniture store in the area for years. They purchased the building in November of 2011, hired a local contractor to do some minor renovations and were ready to open their doors by the end of the year. Both of the Hunts quit their jobs to devote all their time to the new company. They were joined by two of their sons, one nephew and a daughter-in-law. As the business grew, the Hunts hired local people to run the WV location.

Meanwhile, the Hunts’ family members moved home to Oklahoma and Texas.  Allen’s Dad joined that crew as they opened the Seiling, OK and Davis, OK stores.  The company continued to grow to the degree that a dedicated Business Office with a full staff was needed so they renovated a building on Main Street in Seminole, OK which is just a few miles from where Allen and Amy have their home.
 
We wanted a building on the historic Main Street of Seminole, OK, because Allen and I are firm believers in doing our part to revive these smaller communities,” Amy says.
 

Allen’s main philosophy for A&A Supply, LLC., is to provide quality customer service. “So many of today’s stores have forgotten how important it is to take care of the customer,” Allen says. “My staff and I make it a point to treat each of our customers as I would want to be treated. After all, they are what keeps A&A Supply in business!”
